The young Armenian soprano Ani Yorentz recently sang the role of Mimi in Puccini's La Bohéme at Theater Dortmund, Staatstheater Kassel and in semi-staged performances with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ani recently made her debut as Juliette in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at Staatstheater Kassel and in the season 2017/2018 she is scheduled to make her role debut as Musetta in La Bohéme in Kassel.

Past engagements include the role of Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen at Theater Chur, Liú in Puccini's Turandot, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro all at Staatstheater Kassel and Magda in La Rondine and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, both at the State Opera in Yerevan 

Ani Yorentz studied at the Komitas State conservatory in Yerevan and Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main.
Currently she is coached by Ileana Cotrubaș.
